Q. I signed up for a subscription on the SupportCourt site. Do I have to sign up here, too?

A. Attorney and Judicial accounts that signed up on SupportCourt were automatically transferred to the GuidelineSupport site.

Q. Does a program that calculates child support have to certified by the California Courts Administrative Council for use in the court room?

A. Yes. In order for the results of a computer program to be used in court, the program must be certified. The Guideline Support program used in GuidelineSupport.com is certified.

Q. Does the GuidelineSupport Calculator do Spousal Support, too?

A. Yes. You can select to see Child Support, Spousal Support or both.

Q. Can I print out a report?

A. Yes. There is a report view that shows all the amounts and is printable.

Q. Can anyone else see the results? Is the calculator connected to a data base?

A. No. The calculator is totally private. The information you input exists only on your computer and only as long as you stay in that screen. It is not saved or recorded. It is for you alone. The only way to make a copy of your report is for you to print it.

Q. How many times can I use the GuidelineSupport Calculator?

A. As many times as you wish during your subscription period.

Q. What if I lose my Username or Password?

A. Click on Help in the upper left. Enter the email address you used when you signed up and the information will be sent to you.

Q. What order are Attorneys listed in when a client searches by zip code?

A. Attorneys are listed by the order they signed up. Check a zip code to see who is already there. If it is blank, you will be at the top of the list!

Q. Do I have to go online every time I want to use the calculator?

A. An optional CD is available to use on any IBM type PC or laptop.

Q. Are there copies available for Judges or Judicial Council Trainings?

A. Complimentary copies are available for Judges and Judicial Council training.
